Apart from this flaw, the wrappers are clean and tidy. Books are bound in burgundy laminated cloth. The front of Volume 1 has a thin scratch (corresponding to the wrapper damage).
Volume 1 - contains the World, Europe and Africa. 347 works are catalogued, with 44 plates and illustrations.
Volume 2 - contains Asia, Oceania, Antarctica & America. Contains 381 works catalogued and 46 plates and illustrations.
