Black paper covers, illustrated by a black and white lino-cut. 8 pages on red & green sheets, with poem by Blake, lino Cut by Paul Peter Piech, and limitation page. 210 by 105mm (8¼ by 4¼ inches). Paul Peter Piech was an American who came to the UK as a serviceman in the Second World War. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art. In 1959 he set up the Taurus Press, a small press based at his home in Bushey Heath. His first publication was 'War and Misery' a portfolio of woodcuts. He produced a series of books highlighting his concerns about Freedom of Expression & Racial Equality. His commissions have included work for Amnesty International and CND. The press produced 70 publications. He also regularly produced lino cut posters and art works.
Condition: A touch of edgewear (creasing only) to the covers, otherwise in excellent condition.
