Kamisuki Choho-ki - Bequemstes Handbuch zur Papierherstellung
Deutsches Buchmuseum, 1925. First edition Thus. The second publication of the book museum at Leipzig in a small, numbered edition. This copy #427. Facsimile (including cover) of the woodblock work published in Naniwa (Osaka) in 1798 by Onogi Ichibei and Umibeya Kwanbei. In clear illustrations, the work describes the production of Japanese paper from the plant to distribution. Japanese style sewn binding. 225 by 160mm (8¾ by 6¼ inches).
Condition: A little bumping to the cover, with a chip to the spine. This is not particularly noticeable, as the facsimile is in the style of an old and tatty copy! A touch of bumping to the edges otherwise. Internally in excellent condition.
