London: Harvey and Darton, 1824. A scarce book of engraved illustrations by Eleanor Fenn. Original binding, with the title "Mrs Lovechild's Book of Cuts, 3s 6d" to the spine. Marbled boards and red leather spine. A deficient copy. Lacks 6 pages. Present are 1-8; 11-14; 17-26; 29-36 pp. Nevertheless, the engravings are still attractive. 165 x100 mm (6½ x 4 inches).
Condition: Some rubbing and creases to front board. Closed tear and corner chip to the blank ffep and page 24. Marginal edgewear to the pages. Pink / red paint on some pages where presumably a child has tried to colour them! Some leaves a little loose.
