The Diary of a Nobody, one of the great achievements of Victorian comic fiction, was first serialized in Punch from 1888 to 1889, before being published in the present book-form in 1892 with new material and added illustrations. Original cloth, with decorations and titles. Very slight rubbing only. A touch of handling and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Inside this is a clean and tidy copy. A little foxing to the end papers only. One gather (ends p 158) is rather loose, but still holding.
