London: J. Baker, 1710. Reprint of this (8) 223 pp. Originally published in the 1690's, the Way to the Sabbath of Rest was reprinted here along with two previously unpublished works. Full leather binding. This early edition of this mystical work is rarely seen. A 1759 printing being far more common. Thomas Bromley was an English mystic. He was born in Worcester and studied theology at Oxford University. He dealt with mysticism and apocalypticism.

Condition: The original boards have a little rubbing to them. Skillfully re-backed, with a burgundy label to the spine. Contemporary owner's signature and address to the front end paper. Small private library stamp to the base of the title page.
