A scarce collection of grimoires. It was published in softback, but this copy is now bound in blue buckram, with gilt stamped title to the spine. It has been bound retaining the original colour illustrated cover which is signed in the plate by Robert Sallès. Frontis engraving and many fascinating in-text b/w illustrations. Text in French. 177 pages. 185 x 120 mm (7¼ x 4¾ inches).
Condition: Boards are a little rubbed to edges and spine. Inside the pages are age toned, but otherwise the book is in an excellent condition. The title page has been cropped a little to the top edge, and the binding to the spine has hidden the inside edge.
