A Collection Of Hand Coloured Lithographs.
Na, 1850. An attractive work. A collection of 20 hand coloured lithographs, numbered 1-20, showing scenes of life in the Low Countries. For example, the first shows the progress of a young man, accompanied by his dog and monkey. There is no title page, and no clue about artist or printer to any of the plates. The covers of the album bear the word "Album" surrounded by blind stamped designs. The text is somewhat rubbed. Cloth spine.
The first lithograph has a reference 656 to it, which presumably indicates a series, but we have been unable to identify it.
