(What do I know?) gilt stamped to green leather on both of the front boards. Green endpapers. Gilt top page edges. Other edges rough-cut. Boards a little darkened / stained. Inside tight and virtually spotless. Volume I: xxxviii, 724 pp. Volume II: vi, 708 pp. 21.5 x 13.5 cm.
Originally in French, this work cover diverse subjects; from 'Drunkennesse' to 'Smels and odors', 'Friendship', and 'Cruelty', plus 'education of Children'.
