Brussels: Kiessling & Company, 1873. In hardback paper covered boards. Fifth edition. Complete - with frontis map and three others. Covers bumped and rubbed. Map of Brussels has one small tear to upper section (shown in photographs). Overall in good condition. With the bookplate of Robert Washington Oates (1874-1958), who was born in London but partly educated in Belgium. He served in the First World War as a private soldier, whilst simultaneously making a substantial fortune through his financial interest in a firm of industrial chemists. After the WW1 ended he became an antique dealer, and gained an international reputation in the antiquarian book trade. Text in English. 148 pages + tables and adverts. 170 x 115 mm (6¾ x 4½ inches).
