Pressed flower collection

France: na, 1920. The dried flowers are sewn onto the pages. Divided into three sections - each of which has its own end papers. The first is 'Famille des Borraginets', 13 leaves (samples). the second is 'Famille des Legumineuses' 14 leaves. The third is 'Family des Perofulaices' (sic) 10 leaves. In total, there are 70 examples on 37 leaves. Bound in stiff boards, with plant elements showing in the binding. The covers are rather bowed to the back board. Several of the samples are quite flimsy, and a few have started to disintegrate. Overall though still an attractive example of a pressed flower collection. 240 x 160mm (9½ by 6¼ inches). 240 x 160 mm
