London: Privately Printed for Sydney Humphries, 1915. Very scarce. Magnificent privately produced book, limited to only 20 copies. Uncut folio on fine paper. Attractive blue cloth hardback with gilt title to spine. A patriotic compilation - published in the early part of WW1 - on anti-German sentiments. A few spots to front board. Preface signed Sydney Humphries. His coat of arms is in gilt on the boards. The frontispiece reproduces upon a two-thirds scale a page of William Morris's projected Kelmscott Press edition of Froissart's Chronicles. Printed by R & R Clarke, Edinburgh. xxxiii, 65 pp. 370 x 260 mm (14½ x 10¼ inches).
