Leyden: P.J. Trap, 1851. A very nice copy of this Dutch children's colour plate book. First edition. Pale blue satin covered hardback with black calligraphic titles and decoration to the boards and spine. A touch of darkening / rubbing, but overall in very good condition. Inside, there is an owner's name to the inside board (dated 1851). Complete with five hand coloured lithographs. The pages and plates are clean and tidy, with just a touch of marking. Overall a very nice copy. 80 pages. 190 x 120 mm (7½ x 4¾ inches).
