Paris: Librairie Pratique. First edition. A rare panorama / leporello showing the great parade of 1919 celebrating victory in the first world war. Hand coloured. 16 pages in one long sheet. As it is bound in as a book, it cannot be viewed as a continuous panorama. Mustard colvers with an illustration of the Arc d'Triomphe, with a mass of people and rather large cockerel in the foreground. The covers have a cloth spine. Somewhat stained and darkened. No title page or text. The sheets who the pageant with titles / names below. Naturally the French are first, led by the Republican guard, with Marechal's Foch and Joffre to the front. The Americans are next, then the British followed by the Italians, Portuguese, Japanese, Polish, Sebs, Siamese, Czechs, Geeks, Then a large group of French infantry and other forces incluing the morrocans, zouaves etc and ending with the Tanks are shown in the rear. There are some small edge tears to the joints, but overall a very nice piece of history. 15.5cm x 20cm. We can find no copies available to purchase at the time of cataloguing. Couleurs moutarde avec une illustration de l'Arc de Triomphe, avec une masse de personnes et un coq assez grand au premier plan. Les couvertures ont un dos en tissu. Légèrement tachées et assombries. Pas de page de titre ni de texte. Les feuilles qui le spectacle avec les titres / noms en dessous. Naturellement, les Français sont les premiers, menés par la garde républicaine, avec les maréchaux Foch et Joffre au premier plan. Les Américains sont les suivants, puis les Britanniques, suivis par les Italiens, les Portugais, les Japonais, les Polonais, les Sebs, les Siamois, les Tchèques, les Geeks, puis un grand groupe d'infanterie française et d'autres forces comprenant les morrocans, les zouaves, etc. et se terminant par les chars d'assaut. Il y a quelques petites déchirures au niveau des joints, mais dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un très beau morceau d'histoire. 15,5 cm x 20 cm.
