Spanish-language picture book for children with illustrated scenes of rural and domestic life around the turn of the century. Featuring depictions of cows, dogs, pigeons, cats, pheasants, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, horses, etc., each with a suitable nursery rhyme. The covers are clean and tidy with a little rubbing to the boards. The book is clean and neat, with fractional loosening to the binding. The lithography is in very nice condition. 24 pages, 12 in full chromolithography, and 12 printed in grey. Although there are no printing or publisher's marks, this seems to be a foreign language publication by G Lowensohn, who was an early specialist in colour lithography in children's books, and who often printed their works for foreign publisher's without identifying marks. 22cm x 31cm.
