Internally complete, clean and tidy throughout, with a little darkening to the pages. Unpaginated but 64 pages. Jean-Jacques Charles Pennès, known as Jean Sennep, (1894-1982). He was celebrated for his political caricatures, contributing to major publications such as L'Action française, Le Figaro, Candide, and L'Écho de Paris. Sennep's art often reflecting his strong views—he was a right-leaning anti-communist but also critical of Nazi Germany and opposed collaboration with the Vichy regime. 32cm x 25cm.
