A biography of the Capuhcin friar Joseph Le Clerc du Tremblay (1577-1638) Richelieu's intimate friend and advisor. Originally published in 1702 under another title. Original full leather binding, with gilt decoration to the spine. The spine is quite rubbed, with loss of gilt and some of the label. It looks as if the spine has been repaired at some point. The binding is in good, strong, slightly rubbed condition overall. Internally clean and tidy throughout, with a touch of darkening to the pages only. [iv], 509, [xi] pages. 17cm x 10cm.

Il semble que le dos ait été réparé à un moment donné. La reliure est dans un bon état général, solide, légèrement frottée.
