S.P: S.P, 1983. First edition. One of only 35 copies (this being #14) of this coloured lithograph by Carzou. A clean, attractive item, in red and black, printed on yellow paper. A touch of light creasing to the stiff paper only. Blank to rear. 515 by 395mm (20¼ by 15½ inches). There seem to have been three variants of this print. Opera I, red on white paper. Opera II, turquoise on white paper. And this, Opera III, red on yellow. By far the most striking of the three, and seemingly the least common at auction. Jean Carzou (1907-2000).
