London: B.T. Batsford Ltd: 1922. This is Volume IV of The Library of Decorative Art, but is complete in itself. Gift inscription by Harry Batsford (Chairman of B.T. Batsford) to A. E. Doyle, a member of staff at Batsfords. Original burgundy cloth with gilt titles. 269 pages. 360 by 280mm (14¼ by 11 inches).
Condition: The binding is sound, but slightly loose, with the result that one of the gathers has become detached (but still present). Burgundy boards have a little rubbing and discolouration, mainly to the rear board, but mainly sound. Internally clean throughout. Inscription by Batsford and one other.

Het Vlaamse Land 18 lithografieen van Laure Malcles-Masereel
Brussel: Wastiau-Jeukens, 1976. Limited edition of 100. Foreword in Dutch by Roger Avermaete. One of the 20 examples where the signed lithographs are in two states: on Japon paper and also on Arduenna (this is # 13 of 20). These are loose in gathers, and uncut. With an original signed sketch on glassine. Enclosed in a light blue portfolio, and inside its original slipcase. Unpaginated. 350 x 255 mm (13¾ x 10 inches). Laure Malcles-Masereel was an accomplished illustrator in her own right, previous to becoming Frans Masereel's second wife.
Condition: Slipcase has some sun fading, and light wear. Spine of the portfolio has sun fading. Internally the lithographs and original artwork are all in a very good condition.
