There is a touch of darkening to the orange cloth, and a small stain to the bottom of the rear board. Mainly clean and tidy though. Owner's bookplate to the inside front board. Internally clean and tidy, with just a little darkening to the page edges. Jewish author and political activist, Israel Zangwill (1864 - 1926), was passionate about campaigning for the oppressed. He was best known for his work "Children of the Ghetto." Initial ad. leaf, half title, 32pp + ads.
