Dublin: Browne and Nolan, Ltd, 1898. First edition. Hardback. Portrait frontispiece pasted down to the front end paper (looks as if this is to hide a gift inscription to the verso of the end paper). Inside front board there is a label from the Library of Syon Abbey, Chudleigh, Devon. Four plates. Original blue printed and bevelled cloth, uncut, leaf-patterned end papers, a bit of foxing to the ends, else a very good copy. vii, (i), 160 pp.

London: Art & Book Company Ltd, 1906. First edition. Hardback. This is a collection of Roman Catholic short stories. Ymal Oswin is the author's maiden name and, the initials of her forenames: Yvonne Marie Aimee Lysette Oswin. 'Ymal' pronounced 'Yimal' being a schoolgirl nickname. Her married name was Wilson. However, she occasionally used the surname 'Atkin' too.Linen-backed red paper boards, covers a little spotted and marked, a very small marginal tear in one leaf, but overall a very good copy. Bookplate to the inside board from Syon Abbey. (Monasterii S. Birgittae de Sion, Chudleigh). (viii), 123, (i) pp.
COPAC records the British Library as having a later copy, 1922; no other copy is listed.

London: Joseph Booker, No. 61, New Bond Street: 1825. First edition. A very nice copy of this ephemeral item. A single sheet, printed and folded into eight pages - uncut. There is a little foxing to the sheet, and a fractional darkening to the page edges. Clear and clean type. An anonymous essay, looking at the "Roman Catholic Question" following the Union of Great Britain with Ireland. 8 pp. Single sheet, folded and uncut.

London: Burns and Oates, 1889. Ninth Edition. Original red cloth gilt, spine faded, covers with a couple of small marks, book-label of Syon Abbey, Devon. First issued in 1863 by Fowler of Dublin; one copy on Copac, at Trinity College Dublin, is listed under the name of Anderson, with the note that it was later published as "The Catholic Crusoe". The Bodleian copy states that Anderdon was the author; other copies give the authorship to Owen Evans [pseud.]. There is no copy recorded as this one. xi, (i), 371, (i), 16 pp. Catalogue, Frontispiece and 11 wood-engraved plates.

London: J.G. & F. Rivington, and J. Booker, 1836. First edition. Hardback. Contemporary half calf rebacked, book-plate of the Tottenham Collection, Bath Guildhall Library. Signature of Ed Tottenham at the head of the title, "sold" stamp of Bath Municipal Libraries on the title. Lithographic frontispiece with the facsimile signatures of the two short-hand writers, T.J. Brown and Ed, Tottenham.
The marbled boards are somewhat rubbed, but clean and tidy. There is chipping to the spine, and the top panel (1 inch) is detached (inside book awaiting repair). The title label to the spine has gone. Internally clean, but with some foxing spots. (ii) 484 pp.

Paris: E. J. Bailly, 1850. First edition. A lovely clean copy of this prospectus. No flaws. A brief outline to the work of the institution. Although undated, this would seem to have been printed in 1850. 8 pp. 4 leaves (2 sheets) unbound.

London: Burns and Oates, 1958. Original cloth backed grey paper boards, a faded strip at the top of each board, some foxing at the ends, two leaves carelessly opened, half title with top corner turned over. Originally printed an published in 1921 by St Dominic's Press, Ditchling - this edition printed at Ditchling, copyright held by W.D. Woellwarth. The woodcuts were long misattributed to Eric Gill. (vi), 56 pp. Two woodcut plates, three woodcut figures in text. All by Desmond Macready Chute.

London: Art & Book Company, 1913. Volume 1 only. Half Vellum, top edge gilt, occasional foxing, else a very good copy. The covers are clean and tidy. The is a presentation inscription from the Rev. Benedict Willamson. He was a priest and architect, who designed the church "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" in Fulham, London, which was built in 1922, and the Chapel at St Edmund's College, Cambridge among others. Copac records Trinity College Dublin and Oxford, both with a complete run from 1913 to 1918. (ii), 312 pp.

Dublin: M.H. Gill and Son, 1881. Original blue cloth gilt, book-label of Syon Abbey (Monasterii S. Brigittae de Sion, Chudleigh). This is a presentation copy from W. F. Downing, Dublin 1884 to the Lady Abbess, with written presentation to the half title. Copac records a single copy of the first edition of 1879 at the British Library only; Preface states "The present volume contains a large number of poems that were not in the former edition, but have since been collected." xxviii, (17)-302, (ii) pp. Advertisements.
