Original gift postcard from the author to the same people also included inside. In original dust jacket. Inside publisher's corrugated cardboard slipcase with pictorial title label; this is somewhat darkened and rubbed. There is some wear to the price-clipped dust jacket. The grey cloth boards underneath remain in very good condition. Overall in good condition. B/w and colour images of netsuke - miniature collectable sculptures, originating from 17th Century Japan. 325 pages. 245 x 165 mm (9¾ x 6½ inches).
