The 4 photo-diptychs and 1 photo show Haring at work, discussing his work, drawing and surrounded by ghetto blaster, cassette tapes, and spray cans. Printed on matte 300 gms paper. In 1986, New York graffiti artist Keith Haring was invited to exhibit by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He was also asked to spray a velum with his characteristic 'playing men'. This velum has been shown again recently at the Stedelijk Museum. Photo press followed Haring at work, and these images are part of a photo shoot with Chris Reinewald, then journalist for 'Plug' - a cultural youth magazine. This may have been intended for the overseas market, as the publisher "Bruna" is written to the base of the spine. 125 full page b/w reproductions of Frasnay's photographs, and corresponding text between. Overall in very good clean condition. A small split to the bottom of the spine has been repaired. 280 x 210 mm (11 x 8¼ inches). Bel exemplaire de cette première édition. Full of iconic b/w images of Paris. Text in French. 140 pages. 280 x 255 mm (11 x 10 inches). Dust jacket has some peeling at the edges. It appears to have got damp at some point, and this is reflected in a water stain to the blue cloth boards underneath. The contents of the book remain clean and fresh and undamaged. Première édition. Livre photo cartonné issu de l'exposition du travail du célèbre photojournaliste parisien fin 1990. Sous jaquette photo originale non clipsée. Plein d'images emblématiques n/b de Paris. Texte en français. 140 pages. 280 x 255 mm (11 x 10 pouces). La jaquette a un peu d'écaillage sur les bords. Il semble qu'il soit devenu humide à un moment donné, ce qui se reflète dans une tache d'eau sur les planches en tissu bleu en dessous. Le contenu du livre reste propre et frais et en bon état.

Paris: Le Pabic/Pascal, 1979. First edition. The softback book traces the career of Led Zeppelin and its members in France from the 60s to the 90s. A limited edition of 1000 numbered copies. Curiously, although the focus is entirely on Zeppelin's gigs in France, the text is in English. 76 pages, with about 60 photographs, many of them in colour, also articles about the band. In excellent condition, with fractional handling, but no significant wear to it. Also included are two promotional postcards for the book. A nice piece of Zeppeliniana. (If the word doesn't exist it should)! 30cm x 21.5cm.

Curieusement, bien que l'ouvrage soit entièrement consacré aux concerts de Zeppelin en France, le texte est en anglais. 76 pages, avec environ 60 photographies, dont beaucoup en couleur, ainsi que des articles sur le groupe. En excellent état, avec quelques manipulations, mais pas d'usure significative. Deux cartes postales promotionnelles pour le livre sont également incluses. Une belle pièce de Zeppeliniana (si le mot n'existe pas, il devrait exister) ! 30cm x 21.5cm.

Paris: F. Contet, 1928. First Edition. Original large folio folder with blue cloth spine and gilt titles to the spine. Blue marbled boards. A little handing but in very good condition. Slight marking to the spine. Ties in good, strong condition. Complete with 39 plates. Nice title page with a vignette coat of arms. Amboise has four pages of text, with in text diagrams, followed by 12 lovely black and white photograph of the chateau. Chenonceau has the four text pages and 14 plates. Ussé has the text and 13 plates. All photographs bar one, which is a colour reproduction of a XVIe century print tipped in. Overall, the contents are in excellent condition. Just a touch of intermittent foxing. 45cm x 33cm.

Full of b/w photographs - some on glossy photo paper - and colour images of the women who wear Visser's designs. Inside seems unopened. Dust jacket has minimal wear / rubbing. Unpaginated. 327 x 255 mm (12¾ x 10 inches).

Paris: Gamma, 1981. Black and white photograph of riot police in West Berlin gathering against protesters, with debris from an Anti-Nuclear demonstration. This press photograph was taken by Wildenberg on 1st September 1981. 20.000 demonstrators had battled the police during a "Ban the Neutron Bomb" march. Arnaud de Wildenberg is a French press photographer. He worked with the Gamma Agency from 1979 to 1981, taking photographs from trouble spots around the world. The Gamma Agency was founded in 1966 and was absorbed by Hachette in 1999. Photograph in good, clean condition with agency details and description to the rear. 200 by 255mm (7¾ by 10 inches). First edition.

Cette photo de presse a été prise par Wildenberg le 1er septembre 1981. 20 000 manifestants avaient affronté la police lors d'une marche « Interdire la bombe à neutrons ». Arnaud de Wildenberg est un photographe de presse français. Il a travaillé avec l'agence Gamma de 1979 à 1981, prenant des photographies de points chauds à travers le monde. L'agence Gamma a été fondée en 1966 et a été absorbée par Hachette en 1999. Photographie en bon état propre avec les détails de l'agence et la description à l'arrière. 200 par 255 mm

Amsterdam: Fw: Books, 2015. First edition. Signed by the author to the front. Red covers, softback. Colour photography throughout. 'Nationalfeiertag', is a book about one of the biggest, and most monitored squares in the world: Tiananmen Square in Beijing. In April and May of 1989 student protests took place and there was a massacre on June 4th. Officials and police attempted to control the images taken, but Katja Stuke filmed a few hours of material at the time and on the Chinese National Holiday in October. From this footage she extracted hundreds of portraits. The book combines these portraits with newspaper clippings which are collected and spread by the June 4th Museum in Hong Kong to keep the memory of the protests of 1989 alive. Unpaginated [560 pages]. In very good condition. 235 x 165 mm (9¼ x 6½ inches).

Italy: Skinnerboox, 2019. A beautiful copy of this limited edition photo book. Printed in only 500 copies. The softback is entirely on black paper with silver printing of text and some of the photographs are printed in silver on the black paper also. The second half of the book (28 pages) is mostly white paper, with colour and black and white photographs printed on most pages (a few are blank pages). The last two pages are an essay on "the archaeology of the future," Accompanying the book, is another document, the same length, on paper (without a stiff cover). This contains the text to accompany each image (so only a couple of lines per page). The theme of the work is predominantly industrial and scientific in nature. Both of the books are in excellent, clean and bright condition, with no flaws. 300 by 240mm (11¾ by 9½ inches).

In Japanese, with English summary on green inlaid sheet. Chuson-ji is a heavily gilded early 12th century Buddhist temple in Hiraizumi, Tohoku province. 32, 13 pp. 350 by 260mm (13¾ by 10¼ inches).

Most are flip-flops or parts of them in various stages of degradation. Edited and designed by Hideaki Matsuura. The book is in a fine condition. 210 x 150 mm (8¼ x 6 inches).
