The cover has a little creasing and edge wear. Pages are a little brittle, and darkened. Binding slightly loose to the top edge. Still, a scarce item, and particularly when signed. Beauduin was a French experimental poet, closely connected to futurism and simultaneism. Text in French. 195 x 145 mm (7¾ x 5¾ inches). Première édition. Couvertures souples originales. The boards are somewhat darkened, with bumping to the edges. Internally, the book is in good condition, with a touch of darkening only, and a little marking to the first couple of pages. viii, 104 pages. The first 12 pages are the poem in Latin. The rest of the book is notes and commentary / translation of it. An unusual gastronomy book. A glossary in French, English and Latin is given at the beginning of the work. This has been repaired to the top corner of both pages (not affecting text). 250 by 200mm (9¾ by 7¾ inches).

Pale blue / grey paper covers; a little worn / darkened, and the paper has split to the spine (has had archival tape at some point). Title page is the first page, and this has the remnant of the cover edge, where it has been stuck. Otherwise clean and tidy throughout, with a little darkening and foxing. Full of charming biographies of French poets. For example, Bernis begins "What a shame for the people of France that this charming poet abandoned it so early." Includes a surprising number of biographies of women.

Jacques LABLÉE. Lawyer; man of letters and journalist; printer and bookseller. - Born in Beaugency (Loiret), he moved to Paris in 1780. A lawyer in Paris in 1789, he was appointed president of the Luxembourg section in 1790 and became editor of the "Journal des réclamations". Printed J.-L. Soulavie's "Suite des Mémoires du maréchal duc de Richelieu" at 7 rue (de) Condé in Paris, under the name "Imprimerie de la collection des Mémoires du règne de Louis XV". Launches in 1792 "Le Fanal parisien, a newspaper necessary to citizens who wish to enlighten themselves about their true interests...". Appointed before Sept. 1793 as general administrator of military supplies, he was imprisoned for six months under the Terror. Until 1810, he was public prosecutor for the Loiret region. Author of numerous literary, historical and political works, he notably wrote "Guillaume le Conquérant, ou la Descente en Angleterre, romance historique" in 1814. Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur on August 17, 1814. Wrote and published in 1823 "Relation de ce qui s'est passé au palais du Luxembourg, deux mois avant le départ de Monsieur". Died in Paris in March 1841 (Fron BnF).

Publisher's clamshell slipcase covered in mustard cloth, with black title on the spine. A touch of bumping and handling, but clean and tidy. Preface and poem by Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes. Poetic work by Andrée Caraire with 10 photographs by André VILLERS reproduced in colour phototype, full page and 2 original "linogravures" (one in black and one in colour) by Max PAPART. Signed by the two poets and the two artists. A homage to Alberto Magnelli. 58 pages loose in sheets within a title folder of the same paper. Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes (1884–1974) was a French writer, poet, playwright, and painter associated with the Dada movement. Max Papart (1911-1994) was a French painter, engraver, illustrator and collagist. Andrée Caraire was the pseudonym of Andrée Garbit, who was Papart's second wife. They married in 1949. They had a daughter, Anne. André Villers (1930-2016) was a French photographer and visual artist. Première édition. Édition limitée. Il s'agit du numéro 127 d'un tirage total de 135 exemplaires.
