Keith Haring at work, Amsterdam 1986. Five digital prints - signed and numbered on reverse.
Amsterdam: 1986 / 2017. Five black and white prints - after Ilford negatives. Signed in pen and pencil by the photographer (on reverse side). The 4 photo-diptychs and 1 photo show Haring at work, discussing his work, drawing and surrounded by ghetto blaster, cassette tapes, and spray cans. Printed on matte 300 gms paper. 210 x 298 mm (8¼ x 11¾ inches). In 1986, New York graffiti artist Keith Haring was invited to exhibit by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He was also asked to spray a velum with his characteristic 'playing men'. This velum has been shown again recently at the Stedelijk Museum.
