Hardback under wrapper in original gilt stamped pictorial blue cloth. Ten beautiful illustrations by Clara Tice; including the erotic colour frontispiece, and nine other full-page two colour plates with gold and silver highlights. This was first published as 'Les Aventures du roi Pausole' in 1900. The dust wrapper is a lightly soiled, and has one small nick to the front at the top. Overall the dust wrapper, book and contents are all in a very good condition. Some pages remain uncut.
