The BBC's broadcast of 'Adolf in Blunderland' received a tremendous reception, and in this version of the transcript has was been revised, and humorously illustrated by Norman Mansbridge. Hardback book with red cloth spine. Dust jacket has some nicks and is slightly soiled. Book is very clean inside. 60 pages. 250 x 190 mm (9¾ x 7½ inches).

Printed brochure, (limited to 2,000 copies) includes a story board for the film (released 1964), a poem, a caricature of Jean-Claude Carriere drawn by Étaix, some transcripts of letters written by Étaix to be featured in another publication entitled 'Dactylographismes', and an advertisement for the forthcoming book 'Le carton à chapeaux'. This brochure contains includes a signed dedication from Étaix. Pierre Étaix was a French clown, comedian and filmmaker, who made a series of short and feature-length films, many of which were co-written by the screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière. Covers are a little grubby. There is a small closed tear to the tail of the spine. Internally the brochure is spotless. 52 pages. 290 x 200 mm…

Folder: 350 by 260 mm (13¾ by 10¼ inches). The spine is starting to split and has a small water stain. There is a gift inscription 'poem' (dated 1962) to someone at Calle Flygare Teaterskola on the inside cover of the folder. John Jon-And was a Swedish illustrator, set designer and artist. During WW1 he was employed as a cartoonist at Svenska Dagbladet in Stockholm. 10 fabuleuses lithographies originales, dans une chemise cartonnée illustrée maintenue par une cordelette. Cet album contient des portraits d'artistes de scène suédois et internationaux actifs à Stockholm pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Feuilles portrait : 330 x 240 mm (13 x 9½ pouces). Dossier : 350 par 260 mm (13¾ par 10¼ pouces). La colonne vertébrale commence à se fendre et présente une petite tache d'eau. Il y a une inscription de cadeau « poème » (datée de 1962) à quelqu'un de la Calle Flygare Teaterskola sur la couverture intérieure du dossier. La première lithographie a une petite tache d'eau sur le bord du dos en ligne avec ce qui apparaît sur le bord du dos. Quelqu'un a écrit (peut-être de la même main que l'inscription) « Kalle Flygare » sur la couverture arrière. John Jon-And était un illustrateur, scénographe et artiste suédois. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, il a été employé comme dessinateur chez Svenska Dagbladet à Stockholm.

    London: Longman's Green And Co, 1902. First edition. This is a large book, quarter-bound in cloth with rounded spine and illustrated paper to cover. Consists of ten songs and six dances artfully arranged and illustrated with Robertson's original watercolour drawings and hand lettered text and music. Photoengraved and screen printed in facsimile by Edmund Evans.

    400 x 290mm (15¾ x 11½ inches). Walford Graham Robertson (1866 - 1948) was best known as an accomplished author and illustrator, and as a prominent member of London Society.

    Condition: Pictorial boards shows signs of rubbing, scrapes and chips, with rough spine ends. Small neat previous owner's name to front. Some minor foxing to several pages. The songs and illustrations are all bright and clean.
