Overall very good and very scarce. A fascinating summary of each seat in the United Kingdom, with number of voters, newspapers, salient facts, and the results of elections between 1832 and 1852. This was the first trade edition. Printed at the Curwen Press. 256 pages. 215 x 140 mm (8½ x 5½ inches). Dust wrapper has a tiny amount of nicking to the head and tail of the spine. A couple of spots / marking to the cream, otherwise in very good condition. Dust wrapper is neatly clipped. Clean and tidy pale cloth. Internally very nice condition throughout.

This comprises two articles extracted from Annals of the Propagation of the Faith. One is a summary of the income and expenditure of the missions. An interesting summary - showing which of the missions and individuals received grants. The other, is a summary of the work of the missions, first published in the Dublin Review (no. 8). Overall, this is in a good condition. There is a touch of marking to the rear page only. Otherwise very clean and tidy.

Roger Pic (1920 - 2001) was a French photojournalist famed for his portraits and documentaries on anti-colonial struggles. He visited Cuba in the late 50's and 60's; forging personal relationships with both Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. This closeness enabled Pic to achieve images of unusual relaxation and candor.
