These are somewhat rubbed with significant rubbing and loss to the spine. Written number to the front cover. The date c.1750 is printed on the remnant of a catalogue label stuck to the front cover. The impressions of the engravings are somewhat are somewhat blurred. P. 41, repeated on p. 76, the illustrations are not woodcuts but metalcuts. Les cinq premières comprennent une série d'eaux-fortes sur nacre japonaise et les plaques rejetées ; les vingt-cinq suivantes comportent la suite des eaux-fortes sur nacre du Japon. De plus, vingt exemplaires numérotés en chiffres romains ont été tirés. » Celui-ci contient en effet une suite supplémentaire de 47 gravures (imprimées sur vélin BFK Rives, pas sur nacre japonaise). Il y a une notice sur le dépliant publicitaire, qui précise que les 20 exemplaires numérotés en chiffres romains, signés par l'artiste, sont composés des différents autres états. Cette copie en fait partie. Étui et dossier rigide. Couverture souple sur les fronces lâches. Titre rouge au dos de l'étui. Un dépliant publicitaire / dépliant de pré-publication est également joint, imprimé sur Rives. 102 pages + 47 eaux-fortes dans la suite annexe. L'étui et le dossier sont sains, mais avec un petit marquage sur les parties crème. Le papier est en très bon état, avec quelques rousseurs. Inside, the prints are in excellent condition, but the slight darkening to the middle continues for about half of the lithographs (see photos). Roosenberg, born in the Hague in 1916, dies in Eijden (near Maastricht) in 2004. Although primarily a ceramicist and sculptor, Roosenberg also undertook lithographs and art work on occasion. Roosenberg, né à La Haye en 1916, meurt à Eijden (près de Maastricht) en 2004. Bien que principalement céramiste et sculpteur, Roosenberg a également réalisé des lithographies et des œuvres d'art à l'occasion. Il s'agit d'un objet rare, nous n'en trouvons aucun actuellement en vente, et il y a plus de 15 ans qu'il n'a pas été vendu aux enchères.
