    La F.I.J.L fue una organización juvenil anarquista creada en Madrid en 1932 durante la Segunda República Española. Inquietudes se publicó por primera vez en 1947 en el exilio en Francia. Este diario/revista anarquista cubría una amplia gama de temas, especialmente culturales, y cada número tenía una tirada de 2.000 ejemplares, siendo distribuidos por todo el exilio y el interior de la Península Ibérica. This is the year that Koos Vorrink, the outgoing chairman of the AJC, gave his farewell speech at the week long camp. The AJC promoted traditional good manners, no alcohol or tobacco, lots of exercise, folk dancing, drama and music. Front cover green woodcut design by Fré Cohen.     The AJC (1918 - 1959) was a socialist youth movement.

    Calcutta: The Baptist Mission Press, 1911. First Edition. Hardback. Colonial British officers and civil servants who lived in India during this period were expected to learn to speak the Indian languages in order to communicate directly with their staff and men. Hindustani was the considered 'lingua franca', spoken as it was over much of the area which, at that time, constituted British India. Higher Standard Hindustani examinations remained, virtually unchanged, until 1947.

    Binding is tight and square. The paper covering the spine is split at the bottom. Boards are soiled but somewhat stained. The book has definitely been used as there are small / light pencil annotations to some pages. 220 x 135 mm (8¾ x 5¼ inches).

Cependant, la guerre s'est terminée plus rapidement que prévu. La 2e Légion est donc transformée en 1er Régiment étranger en 1856 et stationnée en Algérie. L'unité, qui porte un uniforme vert, conserve son caractère suisse jusqu'en 1859.
